Think eARTh
Earth without “art” is just “eh.” “THINK eARTh: The Tampa Bay I Want to Inherit” is a project that helps the youth connect scientific knowledge to creative expression coordinated by Community Stepping Stones. Tampa Bay area students and teachers have collaborated to produce multi-media exhibits and presentations to communicate their feelings of climate change through art.

Summer of Fun Sweepstakes
For the third straight year, historic Ybor City will kick start the summer season with a Facebook promotion. For 13 weeks starting June 1, Facebook users can enter the “Summer of Fun” Sweepstakes for a chance to win a prize package with items donated from Ybor City merchants. Tampa Noles Football Kickoff and Block Party
The largest pub crawl in the state of Florida, last year's block party broke the record with more than 2,200 people. Start at the historic Italian Club for the kickoff where attendees will hear from Seminole legends, commentators and football experts on the upcoming season. Learn about Tampa Nole activities and events for the next year, and get involved with fellow alumni. At 4 p.m. the block party rolls down Seventh Ave. for various stops.

7th Avenue Band Slam Homecoming Show and Taylor Swift Tribute
The RITZ Ybor will welcome past 7th Avenue Band Slam winners back to its stage for a Taylor Swift tribute show at the 7th Avenue Band Slam Homecoming. Performing bands include Mighty Mongo, Rising Down, Dropin Pickup, and Supros. Each band will perform original songs as well as a cover of a Taylor Swift classic.

Beer and Bow Ties
Beer and Bow Ties Benefit is a fundraiser hosted at Coppertail Brewery to raise help, hope and healing for those dealing with devastating trauma. All proceeds will go to the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay. Tickets are $45 with a commemorative yellow bowtie to represent suicide prevention and awareness.

Celebra tu Herencia - Official Hispanic Heritage Kick-off Event
In partnership with the Ybor City Saturday Market and Tampa Hispanic Heritage, Inc., Celebra tu Herenica will offer the community a full day of music, folkloric dances, cooking competitions, arts and crafts sales, plus the selection of the Hispanic Cultural Ambassador and more. Mayor Buckhorn will present the official proclamation and more than 40 colorful flags on the main stage will represent 40 Spanish speaking countries. The traditional Arroz con Pollo cooking contest will continue with cash prizes, handcrafted plaques and judging rights for 2016 awarded to the winners.

All American Music Productions Inc. and Latin Times Media Inc. invite the Tampa Bay community to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by honoring generations of Hispanic Americans residing in Tampa Bay and across the state and nation. Viva Tampa Bay is an exciting FREE family art and cultural festival celebrating the beauty of Tampa Bay's Hispanic communities. Guests will enjoy delicious Latin foods, festivities and performances dedicated to Hispanic Heritage, plus world-renowned, award-winning singer Carlos Oliva and Los Sobrinos del Juez and internationally famous, multi-Grammy winning percussionist Giovanni Hildago. Awards will be given out to our city's most influential Hispanic leaders and award-winning Latin artists and singers will perform. Special guests include former Tampa Bay Buccaneer, Martin Gramatica; Tampa Hispanic Man of the Year recipient Evelio Otero; host of The Jorge Show, Jorge Alvarado, and more.
